Jacques Vandescure
Jacques, CEO and Co-Founder of Wingspan, is a Belgian-Congolese basketball player who played at Winthrop University and in Belgium's professional leagues. Since 2009, he's been deeply involved in African basketball, residing in Senegal, DRC, and Rwanda. With extensive scouting experience, including roles with the San Antonio Spurs and OTE, he's renowned for his vast African network and serves as an NBA TV consultant for Canal + Africa.
David Helmer
David, Chairman and Co-Founder of Wingspan, is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with 45 years of international business expertise. He is founder of Catalytik Group, an investment firm operating in various sectors across the US, Europe, and East Africa, including Sports, Property Development, Distribution, Life Science, and Manufacturing. Additionally, he serves as a partner in several venture capital firms.
